Alternative For Movie Lovers: Sony A90J OLED. If that doesn't bother you, it's one of the best smart TVs we've tested. Also, while it's excellent for watching HDR movies due to its high contrast and wide color gamut, its HDR brightness is just okay, and some highlights don't pop the way they should. The main downside to owning an OLED is the risk of permanent burn-in that could happen with constant exposure to static elements, but we don't expect it to be an issue for those who watch varied content. In terms of picture quality, it can turn off individual pixels, resulting in a near-infinite contrast ratio and no blooming around bright objects. The built-in mic for voice control also allows you to ask it to change inputs, open apps, and search for content. It's user-friendly with many apps available through the app store, and the included remote has a point-and-press feature that you can use like a Wii remote, making menu navigation even easier. It comes with LG's webOS platform, which is their proprietary smart platform. 
It's available in a wide range of sizes, from 48 to 83 inches, and we expect all sizes to perform like the 55 inch model we tested.
